Psychedelic Prayers 5th edition
FRONT
Each prayer is printed on a seperate leaf (unbound heavy stock paper). The calligraphy was done by Daniel Raphael and the boarder excuted by Micheal Green (one of the original members of the League for Spirtual Discovery) depecting sacred plants. At the top of thew border is the Seal of the League for Spirtual Discovery, on the left the Yin/Yang Symbol and on the right the Seal of the Brotherhood of Eternal Love. in each corner, the symbol of Love. The boarder and calligraphy are printed in purple ink.
The prayers were selected and placed in order by Rosemary. Some editing was done by Rosemary with the assistance of Brigette Mars.
BACK
Each leaf is number with the Box Set Number & Prayer Number. The Set number begins with 300 ( as, at the time it was thought that this was the third edition).
Timothy & Rosemary invisioned this edition as an alternative currency (Note "In Tao We Trust at the center bottom of each page.) The leaf was designed to be traded (not un-like the tokens or NFTs of today). The value of the leaf depended upon the goods or services exchanged for it.
22 sets were originally printed. Six sets (placed within the prototype box were distributed to a close circle of friends (1972)). Shortly after completion of the prayers, Rosemary and John left for Switzerland, remaining on the run outside America for ten years. The remaining printed prayers were stash deep in the Ozark Mountains for many, many years. A flood rushed through the stash house leaving only ten sets intact.
